Shahi paneer makes in every house. Everyone cooks it many ways.shahi paneer is very delicious dish. I make it in Punjabi style.
Ingredients:
250 gm paneer (cut into cubes)
3 tomatoes
½ tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
½ tsp turmeric powder
1tbsp fenugreek leaves
1tsp ginger and garlic paste
1 tbsp cashew nut
½ tbsp coriander leaves
½ tsp garam masala
1 tbsp ghee
2 tbsp malai or fresh cream
Method:
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Put chopped onions fry until light brown add cashew nut and fenugreek leaves cover and cook them 10-20 minutes on the low flame .keep it for cooling then blend all the mixture. Heat ghee in a karahi.put ginger and garlic paste adds bland paste. Cook it for some time then add tomatoes puree.add malai ,stir and simmer over a low flame .drop paneer piece ,stir well and cook for 3-4 minutes. Garnished with coriander leaves Shahi paneer ready serve hot with roti
